Aberdeen is set to become a hub of vibrant musical fusion with the upcoming Afro Indie Series (AIS), presented by Raven AfriKulture in collaboration with Deja Vu Lounge. Scheduled for 9th November 2024, this event promises an exciting exploration of Afrobeat, soul, and alternative R&B, showcasing emerging Afro-indie talent.
Themed “Telling Our Stories, In Our Voices,” the Afro Indie Series aims to provide a platform for artists to share their personal stories and cultural experiences through music. The event will take place at Deja Vu Lounge, offering attendees an intimate and soulful experience.

Headlining the event is Tim Lyre, a dynamic singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Nigeria. Known for his unique blend of Afrobeat, soul, and alternative R&B, Tim Lyre’s music explores themes of love, identity, and self-discovery.
