Altrad Sparrows has completed the acquisition of Rusch Crane Repair and Rusch Offshore Services, two specialist businesses based in Medemblik, North Holland, in the Netherlands.
Rusch brings more than 35 years of expertise in crane repair, refurbishment, inspection and maintenance services to the Dutch offshore industry, including the onshore industrial sector. Both companies support numerous projects worldwide and are recognised specialists in the supply of demolition and offloading systems using bespoke-designed knuckle booms.
This acquisition, completed at the end of 2025, reflects Altrad’s ongoing commitment to growing the Altrad Sparrows business by putting its people, development and long-term opportunity at the heart of the business.
Since joining Altrad in 2022, the company’s growth strategy has focused on creating new opportunities for clients, strengthening technical capability and most importantly enabling our people and teams to grow. This latest acquisition builds directly on that ambition.
Rusch’s reputation, talent and technical expertise make them a natural fit within the #AltradSparrows and wider Altrad business.
Rusch will continue to operate under its own name while gaining access to Altrad Sparrows’ global infrastructure and networks which will create exciting opportunities for collaboration, development as well as career growth for people across both organisations.
