Marine consulting and safety specialists AMS Global Group has added seven new members to the teams across its various divisions as it continues to upscale in response to an ongoing surge of activity in business.

Four of the new starts, Kenny MacDonald, Charlie Duncan, and Danny Brown, who are safety technicians, and Karl Meadows, a disinfection technician have joined the safety division where services include mitigating risk in confined space, working at height, disinfection, and fire and gas detection.

Colin Young joins AMS as a marine assurance surveyor in the marine technical service, Marc Taylor is a new workshop operations supervisor with the company and Ania Janiak joins as finance controller.

The recent additions bring the total of new starts to 10 in recent months to the Aberdeen-headquartered marine specialist and the company continues to actively recruit for a range of roles across all its divisions.

“The first six months of the year have been incredibly busy for us,” said Neil Carr, Director of AMS Global Group. “Increased activity across the North Sea and beyond has led to business growth across all our services, and we anticipate that trend and the need for additional personnel to continue.

“We’re really pleased to welcome all of them to the company and we value the skills and experience that they bring.”

In May, the company expanded into the Mediterranean when it opened a hub in Malta in partnership with integrated logistics support and services group Medserv plc.
