The annual Aberdeen-Houston Gateway is to return this month for the sixth time.

The international, annual event will once again celebrate the business links between Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Houston and will welcome a delegation of leading American business representatives to the North East.

One of the highlights of a busy week will be the flagship lunch at Macdonald Norwood Hall Hotel, Aberdeen on Wednesday, March 21st where delegates will have the chance to benefit from networking and knowledge sharing opportunities over a mouth-watering Scottish showcase lunch.

  • Ewen Cameron – Head Trade & Investment (Energy) Scottish Development International
  • Jeffrey Blair – International Director, Greater Houston Partnership
  • Lorna Ramsay – President, Houston Grampian Association
  • Frank Landreneau – Chief Financial Officer, PKF Texas
  • Andrew Derry – Principal, British International School of Houston

Commenting on plans for 2018 Granite PR founder and managing director, and Aberdeen-Houston Gateway creator Brett Jackson said: “It is fitting that, during our landmark year, the Aberdeen-Houston Gateway returns with another celebration of the very special relationship which exists between these exciting and vibrant cities.

“Both Aberdeen and Houston have been fundamental to the growth and success of Granite PR throughout our first ten years in business, therefore we are delighted to create and share another opportunity to educate, innovate, collaborate and communicate.”

He added: “Hopefully this year’s event will further consolidate the Aberdeen-Houston Gateway’s reputation as a springboard from which businesses can explore and grow links to diversify, add value and flourish.”
