Aberdeen’s Nucore Group which incorporates Oteac Ltd and HVAC & Refrigeration Engineering Ltd, has appointed Mark Fraser as chief financial officer.
Mark brings with him over 15 years’ industry experience in senior finance and commercial roles.

A certified accountant, Mark began his career with local accounting firm Hall Morrice in Aberdeen, before moving into the energy sector with Baker Hughes where he held senior leadership roles across the North Sea, Africa and North America.
In 2013 Mark took up the role as chief financial officer at Scopus Engineering before establishing his own advisory business, providing board level strategic and financial support within the SME sector.
In his role with Nucore Group, Mark will be concentrating on strategic and commercial opportunities, working closely with the senior leadership team to advance the group and help its individual businesses maximise their opportunities.

NUCORE Group, is a portfolio of specialist engineering companies which provide engineering products and services, from fire and security to climate control engineering to the offshore oil and gas, onshore petrochemical and marine industries, as well as large private and public sector clients.
Established in 2016 the group operates internationally with over 130 employees and currently comprises of two complementary trading companies, Oteac Limited and HVAC and Refrigeration Engineering Limited (HVAC & R).
HVAC & R provides a range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and services with particular focus on harsh and hazardous environments while Oteac is a specialist provider of integrated fire and safety products along with maintenance and testing services.
