Savills has appointed Mhairi Archibald, one of Scotland’s most respected commercial auctioneers, as Associate Director within its UK auctions division. In her first month, she has delivered immediate impact, securing eight diverse new commercial instructions north of the border, spanning retail, hospitality, mixed-use and development properties. These assets reflect the strength of the Scottish market and the growing demand for fast, transparent sales via auction.

The new instructions span key Scottish locations and asset types, underscoring the breadth of demand and opportunity. All seven lots will feature in the upcoming Savills two-day auction event, taking place on 21 and 22 October via live-streamed online sale.

With over 25 years of experience, Mhairi brings deep expertise in commercial property sales, having held senior roles at JLL and Acuitus. She is based between Edinburgh and London and is spearheading the expansion of Savills  auction services across Scotland and other regional markets.

Her appointment comes during a period of exceptional growth for Savills auctions. The division has already generated £577 million in sales this year, including over £210 million in commercial transactions, a 124% increase compared to the same period last year.
