Archer Knight secures first global franchise partner

ARCHER Knight, the energy market intelligence specialist. has launched its first local franchise partnership as it grows its global footprint.

The Aberdeen-based firm has signed up maritime group Mazenco Marine Services as its exclusive partner organisation for Egypt.

Founded in 1997, Mazenco Marine Services is an energy sector services provider and will help build the Archer Knight brand in one of Africa’s most active countries in the energy sector.

Archer Knight Co-founder and Executive Director, David Sheret said: “Mazenco Marine Services has a really strong track record and will be a welcome addition to Archer Knight.

“The team at Mazenco really impressed us and, with a presence in every port in Egypt, will provide a comprehensive service to companies in the oil & gas and renewable sectors. We’re really looking forward to having them on board.”

“This franchise agreement will help us provide high-quality services to our current clients, as well as meeting the needs of future clients from inside the Egyptian market.”

The deal promises to be first of many as Archer Knight plans to add more franchises in 2021.

David Sheret added: “This is an exciting period of growth for us. We have ambitious plans to place a number of franchises globally this year to assist us in our growth strategy in the energy sector.”

Last year, Archer Knight launched its software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform Flowline which is now an integral part of the Alliance Market Intelligence (AMi) subscription service. The energy market intelligence software gives business granular insight on sectors including offshore wind and subsea oil and gas. Subscribers can access data giving them a detailed real-time view of the market and helping them target the best winnable business opportunities.
