Phoenix Safe Company will host a half day Health and Safety event at Ardoe House in Aberdeen on 7 October 2025, bringing together senior executives from across the oil and gas industry to address one of the sector’s fastest growing safety challenges, lithium battery fires.
From power tools and sensors to drones and transport, lithium batteries are now critical to daily oil and gas operations both offshore and onshore. But their increased use has brought serious safety risks, with incidents of thermal runaway leading to toxic smoke, intense heat and violent flames.
The Aberdeen event will showcase Phoenix Safe Company’s VDMA certified Battery Commander Pro range, proven in destructive testing to contain thermal runaway events, manage smoke and heat, and maintain structural integrity in the harshest conditions. Live demonstrations will show how these solutions provide vital time for emergency systems to respond and keep people, assets and operations safe.
