Aberdeen based AVC Immedia has secured a prestigious contract from FIFA, football’s global governing body to produce video content its FIFA FanFest celebrations at this month’s FIFA World Cup being held in Russia.
AVC will be creating video content for the full month of the tournament across all eleven cities for the sixty-four games. FIFA’s aim is to make fans aware of all the music and cultural entertainment activities taking place in the FIFA FanFest iconic locations in each of the host cities and encourage fans without tickets to gather in a safe place to watch the games and enjoy the atmosphere.

The video content will be distributed via FIFA’s Facebook and YouTube accounts, which have 40 million followers and 2.2 million subscribers respectively, as well as distributed to global media outlets.

This contract follows AVC’s successful coverage of the Under 20’s World Cup which took place in South Korea last summer.
