DIVERSITY Energy Solutions is celebrating after reaching the final stages of the Trades Awards for North Scotland.

The firm has been shortlisted as a finalist in two categories of the annual construction industry awards, for Best Small Trades Business, and Apprentice of the Year, which highlights the achievements of electrical apprentice Ryan Lovie.

Diversity offers an in-house full turnkey approach to energy efficiency and improvement, with a team of more than 20 staff providing impartial energy consultation and advice, installation, testing and certifications, to deliver energy efficiencies for domestic and commercial building owners and developers.

Established in 2016 by Tracie Lovie, with Stephen Cornwallis joining as a director in 2020, the Banff headquartered company has undergone significant growth.

Recent investment in Liverpool based R&M Facilities Management has further facilitated growth plans, complementing existing facilities in both Banff and Stirling in order to deliver projects across the wider UK.

Commenting on the shortlist success, Tracie Lovie, CEO, said, “We are thrilled to be named as a finalist in two categories of these respected industry awards.  The achievement is credit to our team, who utilise their skills and experience to deliver a first-class service for our clients.  Diversity has experienced significant growth as we continue to enhance our offerings, most recently adding ECO4 funding to our services portfolio.  We are really looking forward to attending the awards ceremony and celebrating with other finalists from across the industry.”

Isla Stewart, Account Manager at Mearns & Gill, organisers of the Trades Awards said: “Once again, our judging panel has been blown away by the standard of application this year. We know how busy the construction industry is, and the huge challenges it continues to face, so we are glad to be able to bring excellent people and businesses together to ensure that their hard work, passion, and expertise is celebrated.”

Winners will be announced on Friday 28th October at Ardoe House Hotel in Aberdeen.
