Business Women Connections (Aberdeen) is inspired by the strong early response from the local business community, with nominations already submitted and most sponsorship opportunities secured since the Athena Awards 2025 launched earlier this month.
Now a standout event in the North-east calendar and in its third year, the Athena Awards shine a spotlight on the talent, resilience and leadership of women in business across the region.
With entries underway and excitement building, the 2025 awards are shaping up to be bigger, bolder and more inspiring than ever before. This year the awards will take place on Friday 14th November at P&J Live, Aberdeen.
With only two award categories still available for sponsorship and a limited number of smaller partnership opportunities remaining, businesses are encouraged to get involved early and show their support for female-led success.
The final two categories open for sponsorship are:
Rising Star Award –celebrating emerging talent and future female leaders
Women in Business Support & Consultancy Award – recognising outstanding support professionals who enable others to thrive
Additional smaller sponsorship options include pre-dinner networking, programme advertising and table decorations.

Nominations and self-entries are invited across a wide range of categories, including Inspirational Woman of the Year, Women in PR, Marketing and Communications and Women in the 3rd Sector.
Entries are open to women from all sectors and backgrounds. Do not miss this chance to shine a spotlight on yourself, a colleague, or a business you admire. Entries close on 15th August.
