Commenting on today’s news, Strathaven RFC Under 18 Coach Sinclair McLaren said: “It’s fantastic that Bancon homes have agreed to support our under 18 team this year. We are a club with big ambitions and having support like this from Bancon Homes really helps us grow. Hopefully the new houses in the area will also mean new players for us. We are always looking for new players at every age, so if interested please get in touch. And thanks again to the Bancon Homes team.”

President, David Naismith also commented: “It is our 40th anniversary next year, and with being very much a community club, it is great that Bancon Homes are coming on board to support us. With their support we hope the next generation of players will come through to our adult teams. I would like to thank Bancon Homes for their support for the U18 team and the wider club, and I hope we can grow this relationship going forward.”

Bancon Homes Director, Jo Skinner said: “We are delighted to sponsor the Strathaven RFC under 18 team and to support the team in purchasing new kit. It’s important to us as a business to play an active role in our local community and we hope that the new kit will inspire the team to even more success this year.”

In addition to its development at Queens Gate in Strathaven, Bancon Homes has developments in Aberdeen, Banchory, Mintlaw and Wilkieston in West Lothian.
