Euan Blair joins the firm as digital account director, having previously worked in a variety of digital roles at Dog Digital, Indez International and Scottish Enterprise. These roles have allowed him to gain extensive experience in search engine optimisation (SEO), pay per click (PPC), social media, email marketing, digital advertising and web analytics.

The new hire closely follows BIG’s appointment of fellow digital specialists Jessica McAndrew and Allice Ritchie to its Glasgow-based team.

Allan Barr, head of digital at The BIG Partnership, said: “Euan is one of Scotland’s foremost digital marketing experts. With his skills in high demand, it’s testament to our digital credentials that we have attracted a candidate of his calibre.

“In the last six months we’ve brought in a number of talented and experienced people to the team, enabling us to meet increased demand for digital marketing services. We’re also planning to make further appointments in the near future through our graduate scheme.

“It’s been a great start to 2015 for BIG, with a number of new client wins in a wide range of sectors. Euan’s appointment allows us to deliver an even broader range of services to our roster of clients, while also providing us with the capacity to bring on even more new work.”

Euan added: “BIG has a very strong digital division and a superb client list. The fact the firm offers a full set of marketing services means we can align digital and communications efforts more closely to make both as effective as possible – a unique proposition in Scotland.”
