ASSET lifecycle services specialist Bilfinger Salamis UK has strengthened its service offering with the appointment of two Senior Operations Managers: Ross Anderson and Ewan Brand.

Well respected with a wealth of industry experience covering both onshore and offshore operations, Ross and Ewan’s appointments will further strengthen the business’s expert team, who provide NDT and Advanced NDT inspection services to clients across Northwest Europe. Ross will take responsibility for growing the onshore business, whilst Ewan will lead the further development of the offshore business, which reflects their respective fields of knowledge and expertise.

Bilfinger Salamis UK’s Inspection Operations Director Dr David Hall commented: “I am delighted to welcome Ross and Ewan to Bilfinger. Being able to attract such high calibre candidates is further testimony to the department’s strength. It’s now time to raise our profile and spread the word on our excellent inspection services throughout the industry. Ross and Ewan not only have extensive experience of leading and growing businesses, but share a real passion for delivering quality services through the continuous investment, development and support of people, our key differentiator.”

Ross Anderson added: “After 37 years with a competitor, I was attracted by the vision, passion and commitment of the senior leadership team at Bilfinger to become the leading inspection provider in Northwest Europe. This includes a commitment to continue to drive innovation through digitalisation and early adoption of innovative technologies, following robust testing and validation.”

Ewan Brand added: “Bilfinger has a high calibre inspection department which deserves to be recognised as amongst the best in field, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to play my part in making sure this is realised. Diversification is key to the department’s development, and I will be looking to increase Bilfinger’s inspection footprint both amongst existing and new clients. I plan to work hand-in-hand with our other business streams as one alliance to provide the best service to clients.”
