Whilst studying for an HNC in Advertising and PR she came up with the idea of advertising onto disposable coffee cups.

Cups with customer designs are distributed for free to a variety of coffee shops, catering vans, community centres and churches to suit the client’s needs and target market for their business.

The client specifies what areas of the city and shire they would like to capture in their marketing, offering a targeted advertising campaign.  Eco Cup Ads offer clients a full design service and complete running of their campaign.

All the coffee cups are 100% biodegradable and fully compostable meaning they can be thrown into the food waste and break down in under 12 weeks.

Marsha said, “Eco Cups Ads offer a unique, portable and modern way of getting your brand exposed to the public.  They are perfect for advertising, running a sales promotion or simply, just to remind the public that you are still in business.  It’s been a tough few years in Aberdeen, and it’s great to hear some positive business reports of growth again in the city. These cups would really help get the clients name out in the marketplace again! Our slogan simply states, ‘We land your brand in their hand!'”

Eco Cup Ads has an affiliation with The Green Earth Appeal.  For every 1000 cups sold they plant a tree leaving them in a carbon positive position. The Green Earth Appeal was carefully selected as they not only plant trees, but they manage tree planting programs and work to educate locals on how to protect their own environment. To date Eco Cup Ads have planted 24 trees and hope to plant many more in 2019.

Previous clients include Steven Mearns, the managing director at Tax Assist said, ”I must admit being slightly sceptical to begin with but once Marsha explained the concept and how we would literally be putting our brand in the hands of our potential customers, I was genuinely excited.  The quality of the finished product is excellent and the business owners I know who use the cups in their business cannot get enough of them.  Thank you, Marsha!”
