Bread PR director recognised for business acumen in Institute of Directors awards

The operations director at Aberdeen based Bread PR has been shortlisted for the Institute of Directors Aberdeen and Grampian Regional Director of the Year award.

Sue Fay joined the consultancy two years ago and has 20 years’ experience in the communications industry.

Under Sue’s leadership, Bread, which specialises in media relations and corporate reporting has enjoyed improved efficiency and instigated robust growth plans.

Bread Managing Director Louise Nicolson congratulated Sue Fay on her nomination: “Sue espouses Bread’s open and creative culture and her leadership has resulted in significant business improvements, with Bread enjoying an increased gross turnover of 65% in 2014.

The IOD awards are Scotland’s premier platform for top directors and an important recognition and celebration of success, ambition and excellence in the profession of directorship. The awards assess individual achievement, initiative, experience and drive and a director’s contribution to the success of the business. Final results will be announced on Thursday 26 March at an Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner in Glasgow.
