NEO Energy has confirmed it is in exclusive talks to purchase ExxonMobil’s UK central and northern North Sea assets.
A short statement on the firms website said if negotiations are successful the sales agreement would be signed in the first quarter, with the deal going through later in the year.

“There is a possibility negotiations may not conclude with an agreement. If an agreement is reached, we will notify our stakeholders,” ExxonMobil added.
