Buildright wins £2.5 million in new business

Buildright, a Scottish joinery and interior fit-out contractor to the retail and hospitality industry has announced multiple contract awards worth in excess of £2.5 million.

Awarded work includes the re-fit and extension of cult trainer store Hanon, located on The Green in Aberdeen. This project will see the floor space double in size to accommodate the stores own apparel and shoe range and is scheduled to be finished by the end of September. Other contracts include the continuation of bar fitouts for Bar Soba – to include Liverpool, Derby, Nottingham and Newcastle. Buildright has already completed fit outs for the popular bar chain in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Leeds.

Darren Wilson, owner of Aberdeen and Blairgowrie based Buildright, says, “We have had an exceptional start to the second half of the year with multiple contract awards across the UK. The 30-strong team is working from Aberdeen to London on these projects and we also have order on the books into Q1/2 of 2018.”

“We have forged a tremendous relationship with the Bar Soba Group who have entrusted us to fit out their bars across the UK, maintaining the look, feel and finish of their other established, popular venues. We also have multiple fit outs across the UK for Crolla’s Gelateria franchises – from Llandudno, Leith and High Wycombe to Nottingham, with more to be confirmed.”
