A popular biannual business event provided the ideal platform to celebrate North east businesses and the people behind them on Thursday, November 7th.

The second Granite Expo of 2024 at Ardoe House Hotel and Spa on the outskirts of the city was one of the biggest of its kind ever hosted by Granite PR.  It featured opportunities for exhibitors and delegates to come together for a giant day of business, networking and knowledge sharing.

The free-to-attend one-day showcase continued Granite Expo’s long-standing reputation as a hub of creativity, collaboration and entrepreneurial inspiration.  A drive to highlight some of the people behind the businesses included opening speeches by Bruce Skinner of Managed Services and Security Provider (MSSP) Alto and Matt Sandham of strategic marketing agency bspoq, as well as Granite Expo creator Brett Jackson of Granite PR.

Next stop for Granite PR’s busy events schedule, and bringing a busy year to a close, is Dundee Expo which will take place at the Invercarse Hotel in Dundee on Wednesday, November 27th.  The gathering is on track to host about 50 business stands and is also free to attend.

Reflecting on the event, Bruce Skinner said: “There is a really vibrant business community in Aberdeen and Granite Expo showcased this well through an enjoyable and productive event.”

Fellow speaker Matt Sandham added: “I was pleased to have the opportunity to share my own journey with a packed audience of local entrepreneurs and companies. There was great energy in the room and these events play an important role in bringing together the business community to learn, connect and collaborate with one another.”

Granite PR MD and Expo creator Brett Jackson said: “By expanding the Granite Expo programme both in terms of frequency and location, we have been able to create more opportunities for people to come together, network, be inspired by and celebrate all that is good about doing business.  These events also provide important platforms for business people to come together to discuss challenges and share experiences with likeminded individuals and organisations.”
