AN Aberdeen businessman has been named new managing director of Quantum Digital Scotland.

Spencer Buchan has also become a 50% shareholder of London based Quantum Digital.

The Quantum Digital business is a global media agency specialising in a wide range of media and content services predominantly across digital and online platforms.

Spencer said: “Investing in Quantum Digital comes at a very exciting time in my career, having owned, managed and sold on a local media business for many years I have many experiences that benefit this global media business with the aim of making Quantum Digital even more successful with rapid growth.

“The breadth and depth of resource and skill that exists in the Quantum business allows for a flexible, agile and uncomplicated business model for our clients to get their content out to market not your traditional clunky media business model.

“Online events are very much a requirement for many businesses to stay connected to their audience, using our Xpanse digital event product is a great example of how the business is matching clients’ needs at this time in particular, that is the unique and inventive nature of the Quantum business.”
