Iconic pop-rock bands Busted and McFly have unveiled plans for a substantial UK arena tour in 2025, marking a significant event in the music industry calendar.
The “Busted vs McFly” tour is set to commence on September 16, 2025, at Birmingham’s bp pulse Live arena and will conclude on October 21, 2025, at Belfast’s SSE Arena.
The extensive tour will cover major cities across the UK and Ireland, including London, Cardiff, Sheffield, Leeds, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Liverpool, Newcastle, Nottingham, Manchester, and Dublin.
Tickets for this high-profile event will be available through various channels. The artist pre-sale will begin on October 16, 2024, at 9 am, followed by general sales starting on October 18, 2024, at 9 am.
Prices are expected to range from £52.80 to £98.20 based on Glasgow’s OVO Hydro venue.

Busted achieved their first #1 album in 2023 with “Greatest Hits 2.0,” having sold 4.5 million albums and received eight Platinum certifications. They have also won two BRIT Awards.
McFly is celebrating 21 years since their formation and has scored seven #1 singles and seven Top 10 albums.
Speaking of the tour, McFly threw down the gauntlet and commented: “Busted gatecrashed our show last night (not cool), and challenged us to a VS tour next year.
“They’re old men now, and we are gonna blow them and their carers off the stage next year. We’ve had a great time celebrating our 21st birthday this week and next year is going to be even better – P.S Busted Suck.”
Busted fought back and added: “There’s been a lot of talk recently…. This is where the talking ends….! We are ready to show who is the better band once and for all. McFly suck and Busted Rock!”
With sales totaling 10 million units and multiple Platinum certifications, they have also won a BRIT Award for Best British Pop.
Both bands have demonstrated remarkable longevity in the music industry, maintaining relevance and commercial success over two decades.
Rob Wicks Managing Director at P&J Live, said: “Are you team Busted or team McFly? Either way, we can’t wait to welcome them both to Aberdeen to play some of their greatest hits.
“McFly were at our old venue, the AECC back in 2007, 2008 and 2011, so it’s great to see them back on stage in the North East of Scotland – this time in our new venue.
“Busted have notched up one gig at the AECC and one just recently here at P&J Live, which proved to be an epic show.
In Case You Missed it:
“We hope you’ll join us to back your favourite band next year. Air guitar moves on standby; this will be a show you won’t want to miss.”
This collaborative tour not only capitalises on nostalgia but also showcases the enduring appeal of both acts in the contemporary music market.
