CAN Group is delighted to announce that it has recently secured a 5-year contract with a leading North Sea oil and gas operator.
The contract, which was awarded following a competitive tendering process, is for the provision of Inspection Services which will continue to be led by CAN Group’s market-leading Inspection business stream, having successfully delivered both Integrity Management and Inspection Services for this operator since 2001.

Building on this long-standing relationship, the new contract will focus heavily on driving continued efficiency and assurance, harnessing digitalisation and innovative technology to get the best solution for its client’s asset integrity needs. Pivotal to the award was the technical expertise and competence of CAN’s project delivery team, in-house Technical Authorities and Subject Matter Experts.
The contract requires CAN Group to manage the end-to-end inspection delivery using both conventional and advanced inspection techniques whilst streamlining interfaces and inspection management processes, allowing the client to maintain its long-term focus on strategy, risk management and production efficiency across its asset portfolio.
This milestone award provides a number of opportunities for career progression and development across all elements of the contract, both directly and indirectly, providing certainty over the initial term and potential extension options.
