Andy Willox, Gold Star Cleaning: “My Elevator Lifetime Achievement Award was the cherry on top of my lifetime cake. On the wall at home, next to my award, hangs my ‘Achievements’ portrait to remind me of Elevator and being chosen in 2018. A great privilege to accept the award from such a respected and successful organisation, and in such a successful and competitive business area as North East Scotland.”
Jeanette Forbes, PCL Group: “Winning the Elevator Entrepreneur of the Year Award came as a total surprise and was most unexpected. After working hard at my business PCL Group, I like most just get on and do the necessary, rising to the daily challenges of running a business and occasionally obtaining recognition, irrespective of the market conditions and political intervention. It is not often people can take the ‘wind out of my sail’ but winning this award most certainly did. Extremely privileged and incredibly humble the business community thought I was worthy of this prestigious award.”
Andrew Reid, Inspire PTL: “It was fantastic to be a finalist in the Enterprising Communities Award category as it shone a light on the innovative work of the Inspire…By Charity Shop & Workshop. It bolstered Inspire’s profile and highlighted the support we provide to people with learning disabilities across the north east of Scotland.”
