As part of Scottish Apprenticeship Week, Custom Tuning & CT Garage have recognised the progress of one of their rising stars, apprentice technician Conrad, as someone who has continued to go from strength to strength in his role.

Now halfway through the second year of his apprenticeship, Conrad has already successfully completed his first year of college through day-release training, combining his studies with valuable hands-on experience in the workshop.

Apprenticeships play an important role in developing the next generation of skilled technicians, and Conrad’s commitment to learning both in the classroom and on the job is a great example of how effective this pathway can be.

Colleagues have watched his confidence, technical ability, and understanding of the trade grow week by week, both while working alongside experienced technicians and developing new skills during his training. According to CT Garage, Conrad has demonstrated a strong work ethic and a real willingness to learn.

“His progress so far has made him a valued member of the team, and there is no doubt that he has a bright future ahead as he continues working towards completing his apprenticeship.

Everyone at the company is proud of the progress Conrad has made and looks forward to seeing him reach the final stages of his training in the coming years.” said Paul Gamble, Company Director.

He added: “Supporting apprentices like Conrad is a key part of investing in the future of the industry, helping young people build rewarding careers while ensuring vital skills continue to develop within the sector.”

For now, however, the focus remains on the journey ahead – and Conrad is certainly heading in the right direction.
