Churchill Drilling Tools wins export award

Churchill Drilling Tools, an oilfield service company specializing in drilling innovation is celebrating after winning the high growth markets exporter of the year category at the 2017 HSBC Scottish Export Awards.

The company received the accolade at an awards ceremony held in Glasgow on March 22. The award specifically recognises export achievement in high growth markets of interest to Scottish domiciled businesses including the Middle East and South Asia – with success measured in terms of growth in sales and market penetration.

In the case of Churchill Drilling Tools, the company decided to expand in the Middle East in 2016 and has succeeded in establishing itself as a reliable and trusted supplier of innovative well contingency technology. From its regional hub in the UAE, Churchill has secured a dominant market share for its technology and has seen its revenue exceed targets by a factor of four.
