Under Clearbell and Iceni’s management, a rolling refurbishment programme will be implemented across all properties to enhance Customer experience.

This acquisition forms part of a long-standing partnership between Clearbell and Iceni Property – with both firms having collaborated on the day-to-day running and management of a PBSA property in Southampton, Lucia Foster Welch, operated under the Every Student brand. This acquisition brings the total number of student accommodation beds to 1,859 across the portfolio.

With a population of more than 400,000, Aberdeen was named as the best Scottish city to live and work in 2021.

Rob Mills, Partner, Clearbell, said: “As the number of young people attending university continue to increase yearly, we want to help students access well-priced and high-quality accommodation, where they have the chance not only to enjoy their university experience but also to have the opportunity to be part of a community in a culturally rich and diverse city like Aberdeen.”

Matthew McAdden, Founding Director and CEO at Iceni Property Asset Management, said: “We are delighted to complete another acquisition with Clearbell to add to our Every Student brand.  These assets are well located and of good quality.  They are all priced at levels that ensure that we can deliver on our brand promise of Quality Living at Affordable prices.
