Mr Pirie, who has more than 16 years experience, will continue to work jointly with his former colleagues on some larger scale projects.

He said: “I have always had an ambition to branch out on my own and I feel the timing is right to take that step.

“The market is undoubtably going through an uncertain time both nationally and locally at the present time however, my experience over the years has shown me that uncertain times create opportunity for investors and developers looking to capitalise on correctly priced stock.

“I’m in a hugely fortunate position to begin this venture with some excellent clients whom I have worked with over a number of years, and I’m looking forward to continuing to support them, as well as new clients.”

More than ten clients are already lined up to work jointly with the new business and CBRE, including First Endeavour, Aberdeen Standard Investments, Aviva, Titan Investors and Dandara.
