Construction firm secures contracts worth £25 million

ABERDEENSHIRE-based Bancon Construction has secured a batch of new contracts valued at more than £25 million, paving the way for continued growth into 2021.

The new business will see the company working in Aberdeen, Dundee, Nairn and Inverness, as well as a £4 million contract for community outreach work in Montrose.

The company has further secured a £4million contract with Titan Aberdeen Investments Ltd, creating a new industrial development in the Altens area of the city.

The work, which is now underway, includes the design and construction of a new office together with the refurbishment of an existing warehouse and its external areas.

The scope of works includes the refurbishment, recladding and extension of an existing steel-framed industrial building to form two semi-detached industrial units.

External site works include the formation of a new road access, parking, service yards and associated new retaining walls, landscaping and drainage.

Based at Burnett House in Banchory, Bancon Construction has a turnover of £35million and 90 employees.
