CVS will rent Unit 7, which extends to 23,981 sq ft (2,227 sq m) and includes a 19,486 sq ft (1,810 sq m) yard, on a new 10-year lease paying £282,500 per annum. The building was formerly occupied by Denholm MacNamee, who agreed to surrender the residue of their leasehold interest as part of the deal.

Dan Smith, director at Savills in Aberdeen, who acted on behalf of CVS comments: “CVS required to relocate their operations in order to satisfy the burgeoning demand for their valve supply, repair and testing services. Savills worked alongside CVS to undertake a comprehensive search of the market before identifying Unit 7 Minto Place as the preferred option. CVS’s decision to relocate to this modern high specification office and workshop further reinforces the recent strong demand we have witnessed for new build, high specification industrial premises in Aberdeen.”

Standard Life Investments was advised by Ryden, Denholm MacNamee was represented by Graham & Sibbald.
