Dales Marine Services has made the shortlist in two categories of the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2026.

The specialist in dry dock and ship repair, fabrication and conversion has been named as a finalist in the Leith Business of the Year and Developing the Young Workforce awards.

The Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, now in its 15th year, celebrates excellence, innovation and growth from across the city’s business community.

A spokesperson for Dales Marine Services said: “It is an honour for Dales Marine Services to be shortlisted for not one, but two accolades at the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce Business Awards. These nominations, for Leith Business of the Year and the Developing the Young Workforce Award, are a testament to the hard work and dedication of those at our Leith facility and those working in our other locations across Scotland.

“It is great to see Dales Marine being recognised for its continued contribution to the Leith community, in addition to our ongoing efforts to support the growth and development of our apprentices and trainees across the business.

“We would also like to congratulate the other businesses which have reached the shortlist and wish them the best of luck on the night.”

Dales Marine Services operate docks in various locations including Aberdeen, Leith, Greenock and Troon. Each facility offers specialised ship repair and maintenance services to the offshore and energy industries.

The Leith Business of the Year Award celebrates companies that are excelling in their field while positively impacting the local community, while the Developing the Young Workforce Award recognises firms that champion skills development and training for young people.

The Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce Business Awards ceremony will be held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on Thursday, 26 February 2026.
