As the leading representative body for the offshore energy sector, OEUK gives a voice to over 400 organisations and businesses throughout the country. Its membership is open to all companies from the largest producers and developers, to contractors, consultancies, and the smallest start-ups.

This year OEUK evolved its Economic Report to produce an integrated insight comprising a update of the offshore sector’s workforce profile plus fresh data on the industry’s contribution to the UK economy.

Ross Dornan, OEUK’s market intelligence manager and author of the report, said:
“The offshore sector’s oil and gas activity has been an important part of the UK economy for over 50 year and continues to play a key role in our daily lives. Our sector’s capabilities and the expertise of our skilled workforce are key to delivering a homegrown energy transition to a low carbon economy. This report sets out the opportunity and how the UK and its world class offshore energy firms can take it through action on investment, supply chain capacity and skills development.”

OEUK’s Chief Executive David Whitehouse will join report author and OEUK’s Market Intelligence Manager Ross Dornan for the launch of the report at P&J Live in Aberdeen and OEUK will be announcing confirmed speakers for each of the roadshows imminently.

Tickets for each breakfast briefing are available from the OEUK website
