The first event in the series, in partnership with Aberdeen Harbour Board, will be a two-day outdoor event taking place 8-9 September at Blaikies Quay.
The organisers are also supporting local catering businesses that have been hit hard during the pandemic and are offering free of charge areas for caterers to set up contactless catering points for delegates.
Wil Rowley, Decom North Sea interim managing director, said: “The late-life and decommissioning sector supply chain is a key sector for activity and growth for Aberdeen and this event is a great way for DNS and Aberdeen Harbour Board to show its support for the sector.
“The new series is a great addition in helping the decom industry get back to work offering a glimmer of normality back to business life.”
Marlene Mitchell, Aberdeen Harbour Board commercial manager, said: “Aberdeen Harbour Board is delighted to partner with Decom North Sea in the inaugural decom Live event.
“Aberdeen Harbour in conjunction with our extensive local supply chain offers a fantastic array of solutions in the decommissioning space and this event will be the first of many opportunities for organisations to share their innovative solutions with influencers and decision makers.”
