The MechLOK™ Drill Pipe Swivel is a cutting-edge technology designed to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety during operations. Its unique features allow the choice of a variety of locking methods, enabling the tool to effectively cater to many well operation scenarios. Locking of the MechLOK™ and variations prevent swivelling by a simple, mechanical manipulation of the drill-string. Once locked, varying functionalities of the tool allow for rotation to the right or left, in tension, compression or both.
