Dave brings over 35 years of industry experience to his new role, having held several leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer at STATS Group, for which he helped doubled company revenue through overseas expansion, and as Managing Director, AX-S (Deepwater Subsea Well Intervention) at Expro.

Throughout his career, Dave has also helped launch several new technologies to market, most notably, SmartWELL, CoilCAT and AX-S.

Until 2016, Steve was the Chief Executive of Darcy Technologies, leading the company for seven years, from start up until its acquisition by Halliburton. Steve has 37 years international experience in leading companies and in building growth through technology development in the upstream oil and gas sector.

Tristam Horn, Chief Executive Officer and founder of DeltaTek, said: “Recruiting two highly-experienced and talented individuals is a real achievement for DeltaTek. This doesn’t just demonstrate their belief in the quality and the need for our products, but also highlights our potential for growth.

“Both Dave and Steve have successfully led companies; their combination of technical and business capabilities, will prove to be of huge benefit to the future of DeltaTek. I see their skills as central to our success and consider their appointments key milestones for the company.”

Commenting on his appointment, Dave said: “I am delighted to join DeltaTek at such an exciting time for both the firm and the wider industry. Having worked in the sector for many years, I am adamant in my belief regarding the vast potential of DeltaTek’s solutions and I look forward to launching them to market shortly.”

The firm has also recently moved to a new HQ on Howe Moss Drive, Dyce. The base, which comprises office space and workshop facilities, has the capacity for up to 25 employees.

Tristam continued: “Having a dedicated base to work from, with the capacity for delivering more than just our current contract workload, gives DeltaTek scope for company growth and expansion – which we hope to achieve in the coming months.”

DeltaTek was launched in 2015 in response to the growing requirement for efficiently implemented, intelligent, cost saving and risk reducing products. Its disruptive innovations, SeaCure® and ArticuLock®, have already attracted funding from both the Oil and Gas Technology Centre and Scottish Enterprise – with field trials due to commence with multiple oil majors later this month.
