MORE disruption is expected on Aberdeen’s roads and railways with flooding expected tomorrow (Tuesday 9th April).

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain across Aberdeen and much of Aberdeenshire from 1am on Tuesday morning until 6pm.

Up to 60mm of rain could fall in the city, as well as the likes of Inverurie and Stonehaven.

The warning covers much of Scotland and follows a series of warnings last week as Storm Kathleen hit parts of Aberdeenshire.

The Met Office is warning that rain could be “heavy and persistent”, while power cuts could be experienced by homes and businesses.
