The organisers of Whisky Week are thrilled to announce a deliciously unique event in collaboration with local favourite Dough & Co and the renowned Raasay Distillery.

Introducing “Doughnuts & Drams,” a fun and accessible tasting experience designed to delight both whisky enthusiasts and those new to the spirit.

Taking place during Whisky Week on 11 September, this delicious event will feature a doughnut and whisky pairing class at doughnut factory, Dough & Co. Participants will be guided through a series of pairings by whisky enthusiast Davis Gonnella, discovering how different flavours and textures complement and enhance each other.

“Our goal with Whisky Week is to create events that are approachable, enjoyable, and engaging for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned whisky drinker or just curious to learn more,” said Charlie Bain, co-organiser of Whisky Week.

“By partnering with Dough & Co and Raasay, we’re excited to offer a fresh and fun way to experience whisky in a relaxed and interactive setting.”

“What a fantastic way for Dough & Co to get involved with the inaugural Whisky Week. Throughout our first year in business we have been nothing but innovative and creative, and this is another step along our journey.

“Marrying the fun we put in our doughnuts with the skill and craftsmanship behind the selection of whisky we will have on offer will bring something truly unique to this occasion,” shared Stuart Mcphee of Dough & Co.
