Regional carrier Eastern Airways has filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators, placing the airline on the brink of collapse and triggering cancellations across its network.
All Eastern services from Aberdeen to Wick, Teesside and Humberside were cancelled on Monday, 27 October, following the filing. The notice provides a 10-day legal moratorium shielding the company from creditor action while it considers next steps.
