Energy services firm names new vice president for offshore wind division

SWIRE Energy Services has appointed a new vice president of offshore wind marking a new position for the organisation.

Sabine Weth will head up the new offshore wind division which will support the ongoing development and transition of the business as an energy service leader.

The new offshore wind division will focus on delivering a complete integrated service solution that will in time offer critical inspection and maintenance packages to support the entire life cycle of offshore wind assets.

Sabine, who joins SES from Kongstein, said; “I am delighted to be heading up the new Swire Energy Services Offshore Wind division at this important stage of the organisations development. Having spent the last few years working within a smaller scale operation, there is a feeling I am coming home to Swire, and the offshore wind operations and maintenance. I am confident that with SES’s commitment and long term view we will be able to create an offering that is unique to the market and one that will help my team and I deliver SES’s vision of being the easiest company to work with.”

Swire Energy Services has been supporting the oil and gas industry for over 42 years, with over 500 employees from its 56 bases, across 30 countries, including Aberdeen.
