AFBE-UK Scotland, a social enterprise which promotes diversity and inclusion, has announced that EnQuest and the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult have signed up as corporate partners.
Formed in 2010, EnQuest is a production and development company, with operations in the UK North Sea and Malaysia
Established in 2013, ORE Catapult is the UK’s leading technology innovation and research centre for offshore renewable energy.
Aberdeen-based AFBE-UK Scotland encourages all young people, particularly those of black and minority ethnic (BME) origin, to consider a career in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM).
The group, which has engaged with thousands of young people at its events across Aberdeen and Edinburgh, was established in 2011.
AFBE-UK Scotland is part of London-based AFBE-UK. Other corporate members include Norwell EDGE, OGUK, the Institution of Engineering and Technology and Spirit Energy.
