Equipment rental firm receives Queen’s Award accolade

ABERDEENSHIRE based energy industry equipment rental firm Hiretech Limited has received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade.

The prestigious accolade was presented by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire, Sandy Manson, during a visit to the company’s premises at Fintray by Dyce.

This is the first Queen’s Award to be awarded to Hiretech, recognising its excellence in international trade and demonstration of significant achievements in establishing business in export markets around the world.

The company has achieved substantial overseas trade specifically across Africa, the Caspian, Norway and South East Asia, and is committed to increasing its foothold in the international market, up to 40% towards its annual turnover, as part of its strategic growth plans.

Andy Buchan, Hiretech chief executive officer and founder, said: “It is a great honour to receive this Queen’s Award, which reflects Hiretech’s global success.
