The one-day exhibition and conference will also offer business insights and inspire fledgling organisations as well as demonstrating that today’s businesses must aim high with their growth strategies. A concurrent exhibition, interactive workshops and opportunities to network and engage will complement the conference to provide a day which will encourage growth using tools such as collaboration, learning and sharing best industry practice.

Commenting on plans for the inaugural Granite Growth Summit, International School Aberdeen’s Head of School Nicholas Little said: “We are proud to host this event in our dynamic facility which is an ideal venue to allow attendees to immerse themselves in the world of learning as they network and engage with the North East’s entrepreneurs and thriving businesses. We believe our stimulating environment will bring a fresh perspective to the business event environment and we are delighted to support the local business community in continuing to thrive and excel in a fast-changing business landscape.”

Granite PR Founder and Managing Director, Brett Jackson added: “For more than ten years, Granite PR has been privileged to support many growing organisations in myriad ways, including synergistic networking and facilitation. At a time when UK growth is slowing, many flourishing organisations here in the North East are proving that it is still possible to grow a business.   Recent economic challenges have been tough for many but they have transformed the corporate landscape thanks to the emergence of many innovative and creative start-up businesses. An event like this can help those companies with limited resources to gain insights and make connections which is critical for business growth.”

Cerri McDonald, Managing Director of Prospect 13 added: “I am delighted at the level of support the Granite Growth Summit has generated already. The eagerness of so many top organisations to get involved demonstrates the appetite for knowledge on how to improve and grow local businesses.  Since establishing Prospect 13 less than nine months ago, I have seen a strong drive from ambitious companies across the region who are looking to expand their horizons.  I am delighted to be supporting these organisations and now provide an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs to share business experiences and learn from one and other in order to amplify their business success and improve their future outlook.”

The Granite Growth Summit is supported by International School Aberdeen, Blaze Manufacturing, Caber Coffee, DeepMiner, Elevator and Business Gateway, Federation of Small Businesses, Lindsay & Lang, Mattioli Woods, Oil & Gas Vision, Solab, Thorpe Molloy, Traveleads.
