EVOLVE iMS, the UK-based digital transformation company, has launched an IT support service arm within its business model. It cited client demand for bringing the new service to market and describes the business as “a technology partner that is flexible and informed”, supporting clients across the energy sector.
With a 16-strong team and offices in Aberdeen and London, the organisation will initially focus its IT support service on Aberdeen but expects to quickly increase its headcount in London from the 2 software developers already in place to include further IT support personnel. Evolve iMS has already invested a significant figure into developing its data and ERP services, including support desk software and systems, and has earmarked a further £200,000 in the next 12 months upon service establishment.

Talking on the new IT support service launch, Robin Parkinson, MD of Evolve iMS, says, “From day one we have taken a business analyst approach to our technology services, consulting with executive teams to understand profit centres, pain points and laborious processes. Initially we set the business up to implement and support core business systems such as our client’s financial software and their data landscapes. More and more often, this is resulting in us providing consultancy on the infrastructure that is driving the systems.
