Following exceptional demand, additional funding has been released for the Aberdeen Energy Efficiency Programme, giving more local organisations the chance to access non-repayable grants of up to £10,000 to cut their energy costs.
The programme has already supported small and medium-sized businesses across Aberdeen with over £500,000 in grant funding, helping them invest in measures such as insulation, LED lighting, solar PV, and low-carbon heating systems. The newly released funding will allow even more organisations to benefit.
In response to the programme’s popularity, the application deadline has now been extended to 4 January.
The scheme provides up to 50% of project costs for SMEs, sole traders, and third-sector organisations operating within the Aberdeen City Council area.
