FG Burnett raises £7,500 for local social care charity

FG BURNETT selected VSA, the north east’s leading social care charity, as their nominated charity for 2019.  Over the course of the year, the Aberdeen based commercial property company organised a series of fundraising events including their Annual Pétanque Tournament, a charity quiz night and various other activities.

In addition, some of the FGB team took part in the 2019 Kiltwalk, completing the 26-mile ‘Mighty Stride’ from Potarch, north of Banchory to the city’s Duthie Park.  The company was delighted to present Vicky Youngson, Fundraising & Events Team Leader and Antony Ritchie, Corporate Fundraiser with a cheque for £7,500.

VSA is aiming to raise £3.2 million to fund the completion of a 20-bed mental wellbeing residential facility in the city.  The new facility will assist people living with a range of mental health conditions and will expand upon VSA’s existing outreach support service.
