First Marine Solutions (FMS) has made two senior appointments to bolster the firm’s ambitious global growth plans.
Dave McGinlay and Paul Crichton join the Aberdeen based mooring services provider as Business Development Director and Sales and Marketing Manager, respectively.

FMS was established in 2008 to provide mooring equipment for global drilling operations. This latest announcement comes in response to a growing requirement for service expansion across the oil and gas, renewable and decom industries.

Dave joins FMS having held key roles within the oil and gas sector for over ten years. Most recently, Dave was Business Development Manager at InterMoor, identifying market opportunities and ensuring mooring equipment was utilised to meet the requirements of global rig companies and operators. In tandem to this, Dave’s expertise and knowledge resulted in him being part of a specially selected team to build and develop Acteon Group’s (decom and integrity – management of assets) profile.
Dave’s skillset will lead the firm’s growth plans and position the firm as the mooring equipment supplier of choice, on a global basis.
Paul Crichton takes on the role of Sales and Marketing Manager from the firm’s sister company, First Integrated Solutions. Having been in the mooring sector since 1994, he has worked at Offshore Rentals, Balmoral Group and Viking Seatech and brings a wealth of valuable industry experience.
