With more than 40 restaurants signed up so far, organisers Aberdeen Inspired are urging more eateries to get on board.

Nicola Johnston, Aberdeen Inspired evening and night-time economy manager, said: “We are delighted with the number of businesses that have signed up to be involved in Aberdeen Restaurant Week next month.

“We had a fantastic response from the public to the launch of Aberdeen Restaurant Week last year, and can’t wait for them to experience new elements we have introduced for next month. These include afternoon teas, drink pairing menus and tasting menus, so something for everyone to enjoy in addition to the fixed price menu.

“There is still time to get involved, so we would encourage any restaurants to get in touch if they are keen to take part.”

Ewan McLean, General Manager of The Spiritualist, said: “The Spiritualist is delighted to be part of Aberdeen’s Restaurant Week. Having opened in August 2018 and joined last year’s restaurant week, we are delighted to return! Showcasing the best of Scottish cuisine our menu is contemporary, fresh and locally sourced, the thrill of something new is a sensation that never grows old.”

Taking place from Monday 4 February to Sunday 10 February, the pricing structure for Aberdeen Restaurant Week consists of a two-course lunch priced at £10 per person and three-course dinner for £20 per person. Additional elements introduced including afternoon teas, drink pairing menus and tasting menus are priced separately.
