Operations at Aberdeen International Airport have resumed following a temporary suspension caused by an incident involving a Loganair flight on Thursday afternoon.

The aircraft, which landed at approximately 16:20, reported a technical issue upon arrival. Aberdeen Airport confirmed that the plane landed safely and that all passengers disembarked without injury.

Emergency services attended the scene as a precaution, and the aircraft was subsequently removed from the runway, allowing normal operations to restart shortly afterwards.

A spokesperson for Loganair said: “We can confirm there was a technical event involving one of Loganair’s aircraft shortly after landing at Aberdeen Airport. All passengers and crew disembarked safely, and the aircraft has been taken to the Loganair hangar for inspection by our engineering team.”

The airport has since confirmed that all scheduled flights have resumed.
