In addition, the business won two accolades at the 2017 Wealth & Finance Awards – Best Accountancy Advisory Firm UK and Excellence Award for Corporate & Business Tax Advisory Services UK.

Infinity Partnership was a winner at the British Accountancy Awards in October for the third year in a row when the business landed the Independent Firm of the Year (Scotland, Northern Ireland and North England) at the prestigious event at the Hilton Park Lane in London.

In 2016 Infinity Partnership managing director Simon Cowie won the Practitioner of the Year honour, and in 2015 the company won the independent Firm of the Year (Scotland) accolade.

Simon said: “We’re delighted to win these four awards following on from our success at the British Accountancy Awards. The latest awards again recognise how we deliver a modern, strategic service to clients that goes way beyond the traditional accountancy model.”

Infinity has advised more than 100 start-ups in the past 18 months, supported companies with research and development (R&D) tax claims and helped clients with financial advice in light of the low oil price. In addition, its expertise has been sought by six PLCs (public limited companies). Formed in 2011 and based in the city’s West End, Infinity has a staff of 16.

Simon Cowie was named Scottish Dealmaker of the Year in 2009 and 2014. The firm offers accountancy services, research and development tax solutions, business advisory services, start-up advice and tax planning among its services.
