LOCATED on the North-east corner of Aberdeenshire and a trust port since 1818, Fraserburgh Harbour was built on the fishing industry and has served the town and wider region for generations.
Following a significant period of change and the development of an ambitious masterplan, Fraserburgh Harbour has launched a new brand identity and website, designed to reflect the diversity and results of its business more fully. With this new development also comes a name slight change in name, with the Harbour now referred to simply as Fraserburgh Harbour, as it always has been colloquially, as opposed to Fraserburgh Harbour Commissioners.

Commercial Manager Pamela Neri said: “The Harbour has gone through a significant amount of change in recent years, and it was clear that our visual identity no longer reflected who or indeed what we are as a business anymore. The four interconnected ropes of the logo represent our four key business areas of fishing, renewable energy, vessel repair and commercial. By bringing those together as a whole, we reflect the community feel of the harbour, our collaboration with customers and the supply chain and that as a whole, the Harbour is an important element of the town.
“At a glance, we are now able to communicate what we can do for our customers, our community and our stakeholders.”
Michael Murray, Convener of the Board of Commissioners said: “Our logo and website no longer reflected who we are as a business and while we are a trust port, we are also a commercial business. The Board fully supported the team in taking these bold steps to re-brand and modernise our identity. This is reflective of the work we are undertaking to expand and build a resilient and diverse business for the future.”
