ABERDEEN-based Pentagon Freight Services and TLC SA Transportation Logistic Consulting have formed a strategic alliance in order to enhance the range and reach of their service.
The partnership between the two companies will allow them to combine resources, giving both a means of representation in countries where they do not currently have a presence.
Pentagon, headquartered in London, has 71 offices around the world and over 1,000 members of staff while Switzerland headquartered TLC has more than 200 members of staff and carries out business in over 12 countries including key regions in Africa, South America, and the Caribbean.
Ashley Taylor, Pentagon Freight Services chief executive officer, said: “We are very excited to be working with a company as experienced and esteemed as TLC.
“Their offices in strategically important locations in Africa and new “hotspots” in the Caribbean and South America allow us to extend our high quality of service directly to these regions, while simultaneously taking advantage of the wealth of expertise they have in dealing directly with the complex logistics scenarios that can arise at destination.”
In Case You Missed it:
Philippe Masserey, TLC chief executive officer, added: “It’s really great to be working with an internationally renowned logistics provider such as Pentagon whose reputation, lineage and history in the energy sector makes it an ideal partner to collaborate with.
“We can now offer our customers significantly wider market coverage, along with a seamless end-to-end service, cemented with fully integrated IT systems.”
